About Nicola

Nicola Hodren (BPsychSc(Hons), MClinPsych) is a compassionate and dedicated clinical psychology registrar who values empathy, kindness, warmth and acceptance. Nicola is passionate about creating a non-judgemental space for solace, reflection, and growth.

Nicola has experience working with adults, children and families and has worked in private and public settings. Nicola takes a collaborative approach to tailor evidence-based treatments to an individual’s needs. She has experience with a range of therapeutic approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, mindfulness-based interventions and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.

Nicola is committed to continual learning and improvement by engaging in regular supervision, training opportunities, reviewing and contributing to research.

Your wellbeing is Nicola’s priority and she is honoured to support you in your journey of growth and wellness.

Nicola has a special interest in:

• Anxiety disorders e.g., Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety, Specific phobias
• Mood disorders

In her spare time Nicola enjoys going to dance classes, making art, travelling the world and watching mystery shows.
