Burnout and Work-Related Stress

Burnout builds gradually, through unmanageable workloads, unsupportive workplaces, caregiving responsibilities, or simply years of running on empty. By the time people reach out to us, they are often exhausted, flat, and unsure how to keep going. We help you understand what has happened and rebuild sustainably.

Who this is for

Burnout and work-related stress is one of the most common concerns our team supports across all clinicians.

How is burnout different from depression?

Burnout is typically tied closely to a specific context, most often work, and often improves with changes to that context alongside therapy. Depression can occur alongside burnout but is a distinct clinical picture. We will assess this with you in your first sessions.

We support WorkCover-related psychological treatment. Please mention this when you enquire so we can confirm current availability and requirements.

Yes. You do not need a diagnosis or a label to reach out. Many people come to us simply feeling overwhelmed and unsure why.
