Grief and Life Transition Counselling

Grief and major life transitions, the loss of a loved one, retirement, an empty nest, separation, or a significant health change, can bring up emotions that feel hard to place or explain. Our psychologists provide a supportive space to process these experiences at your own pace.

Grief and Loss

Who this is for

Grief and life transition work is supported across our team, with several clinicians holding particular interest and experience in this area.

Is there a 'right time' to seek grief counselling?

No. Some people reach out soon after a loss, others years later when grief resurfaces. Both are completely valid times to seek support.

Grief looks different for everyone, and complicated or unexpected reactions are common. Part of our work together is making sense of your particular experience.

We focus exclusively on one-on-one therapy rather than multi-person family sessions. Even so, you won’t be left out of the process. We value the essential role family plays, and we actively involve parents and key support people through check-ins and practical guidance along the way.
